The MailerLite button is an affiliate link: we may earn a commission if you buy a paid plan, at no extra cost to you. The GetResponse button is a plain link.

How we made this page. MailerLite’s prices come from its pricing page and the price list it publishes alongside it. GetResponse’s come from the price data behind its list-size selector, and its limits from its comparison table, FAQ and Free plan help. All checked October 11, 2026, from a US connection. Anything we calculated is labeled “by our arithmetic.” We don’t buy or trial the tools ourselves.

Prices at 500 to 10,000 subscribers

Both tools price paid plans by list size. MailerLite’s pricing page says annual billing saves 10%. GetResponse’s pricing page offers a “12-month prepay with 18% discount.” GetResponse’s list sizes start at 1,000 contacts, so a 500-subscriber list pays the 1,000-contact price.

Monthly billing, then the per-month price on yearly billing. *GetResponse’s smallest list size is 1,000 contacts. MailerLite says prices may be subject to applicable taxes; GetResponse says its prices are net amounts and local taxes may apply. GetResponse shows prices by location: these are the US dollar prices its pricing page served us, and a European connection has shown euro prices before. Checked on mailerlite.com/pricing and getresponse.com/pricing, October 11, 2026.

Reading the table, by our arithmetic:

Every MailerLite tier is in our MailerLite pricing guide, and every GetResponse plan is in our GetResponse guide.

Free plans compared

MailerLite Free covers up to 250 subscribers and 2,500 emails a month, with 3 automations (5 steps each), 1 website, 1 landing page, 1 digital product or booking, 3 signup forms and 2 seats. The MailerLite logo stays on, and once you pass 250 active subscribers, sending is locked until you upgrade or remove subscribers. MailerLite’s pricing page sets no time limit on Free. See our MailerLite free plan guide.

GetResponse Free covers up to 500 contacts and 2,500 newsletters a month, with a GetResponse badge on every message. Unconfirmed and removed contacts count toward the 500, and GetResponse’s help article says the limit can’t be reset. The bigger catch is the clock: premium features last only for the first 14 days. After that, its Free plan help article says you can still send newsletters, but you can’t schedule them, autoresponders and automation messages stop, existing workflows are switched off, you keep 1 published landing page and 1 active form, and chat and email support go away.

Which free plan fits? GetResponse Free holds twice as many contacts, but only for newsletters sent by hand. MailerLite Free is smaller, but a welcome automation keeps running after the trial.

Trials: MailerLite gives every new account a 14-day premium trial with no payment method needed; its trial help article says you can add up to 250 subscribers and send up to 2,500 emails during it. GetResponse’s 14 days of premium features run inside the Free account. Neither trial unlocks every paid feature, so check in your account.

Automation

MailerLite’s visual automation builder is on every plan: 3 active automations on Free (5 steps each), 50 on Comfort (up to 100 steps) and unlimited on Power, up to 100 steps each, with multiple triggers on Power. E-commerce triggers are on every plan, and RSS campaigns and campaign auto-resend start on Comfort.

GetResponse splits automation by plan. Starter includes welcome emails, autoresponder series, drip campaigns, click-and-open follow-ups, RSS-to-email and 1 custom automation workflow. Marketer and Creator unlock unlimited workflows plus contact tagging and scoring, abandoned-cart, purchase, visited-URL and event-based automations.

What that means: at the entry price, MailerLite Comfort gives you far more room to automate (50 automations against 1 workflow).

Landing pages and websites

This one goes to GetResponse on volume. Every GetResponse paid plan lists unlimited landing pages with unlimited visitors, and you can connect your own domain from Starter. MailerLite allows 1 landing page on Free, 10 on Comfort and unlimited on Power, with custom domains from Comfort.

For a full website, it flips: MailerLite’s website builder, with a blog section and SEO settings, is on every plan (1 site on Free, 10 on Comfort, unlimited on Power). GetResponse’s is on Creator only, with 5 active websites.

Webinars, courses and paid newsletters

Webinars are GetResponse’s clearest extra. Its Creator plan includes live, on-demand and paid webinars, webinar funnels, up to 100 attendees, 3 presenters and 3 hours of recording storage. MailerLite doesn’t offer webinar hosting; its pricing page lists webinars only as a learning resource under support.

Creator also adds a course creator, premium (paid) newsletters and PayPal and Stripe selling, with 0% transaction fees listed: list, sign-up page, webinar and course in one account.

MailerLite covers the selling side for less. Paid newsletters and recurring subscriptions run through Stripe from Comfort, and digital products and bookings are on every plan (1 on Free, 5 on Comfort, unlimited on Power). It has no course builder, though.

Creator fit

Where GetResponse pulls ahead

Credit where it’s due. GetResponse lists unlimited monthly sends and unlimited landing pages on its cheapest paid plan. Starter is cheaper than MailerLite Comfort at 2,500 and 10,000 subscribers, and its 18% yearly discount beats MailerLite’s 10%. Marketer and Creator include 5 users, against 3 on MailerLite Comfort (Power has unlimited seats). Webinars, a course builder, web push notifications and, from Marketer, a chat widget for your site have no MailerLite equivalent. If those matter to you, GetResponse earns its higher tiers.
